Can Not Download

I uninstalled the game, but when I tried to reinstall I get the error: File Downloaded is Smaller Than Expected. I have uninstalled Impulse, re-downloaded it, rebooted my computer and still the same thing, why the hell can I not download the game anymore.

edit: I unticked the show prerelease option on impulse, i tried to download the non-beta game and now I am getting, error - No Decompression Detected, No Files Were Downloaded

Alright, I really feel like not helping you after you flipped of the handle like that on a goddamn joke, but I'd hate to have this thread sit around longer than it has to.

Uncheck "Show pre-release versions" in settings. The reason you are getting this is because since you have pre-release versions showing, it'll try to download the current 1.1 beta (1.09n, if I'm not mistaken..?) patch instead of the full game and then patch it. Thus, obviously, the download becomes smaller than expected (and never executes).

To get the latest versions (1.1 beta) you'll have to uncheck "show pre-release versions", install Elemental, re-check "show pre-release versions", and then update Elemental.

I ran into this myself, just yesterday-ish.

ive been trying to download this update from Impulse since it came out. i get a similar problem: i get to about 46 % of download then an "Error" message with no explanation pops up and im stopped. cannot Resume.

i have retried everal times. no dice.

my only hope seems to be that Impulse may eventually permit Mirror sites for this Update.

any other ideas ??

you know ... id love to play this game, but everything about it seems to be cursed.
