I tried to update my Elememtal to 1.09n but it will only update to 1.09e ..help

I tried to update my Elememtal to 1.09n but it will only update to 1.09e. I have not played in several months due to the poor state of the game. So once a friend told me about the new versions I went to download it but as I said before it will only download to 1.09e.

I have tried the following:

Uninstalled Elemental then reinstalled and update but this only gets me as far as 1.09e.

Tried uninstaling Impusles and Elemental but it still will only install the 1.09e........HELP Please

You need to have Impulse set to allow beta versions. 1.09n is a beta of 1.1

Ok I did that and now it starts to install 1.09n however when it finishes I get a message "File downloaded is smaller than expected" then it installs it again.

I rebooted PC, reinstalled Impulse, then tried again with the same results.

You have to install 1.09e first. Then turn ON "show pre-release versions", restart Impulse, and install the update.
