[1.09n] Starting boot items superfluous

While creating a new character for 1.09n, I noticed something odd:  The two boots availble for the "Men" race are identical in their stats (+1 movement), but one costs 5 pts and the other 10.  Given that these are identical it seems odd that there are two of them, and even more odd that they have different costs...

Longstrider Boots used to provide +0.25 combat speed as well.  But I agree, now that they no longer provide that bonus they are just over-priced Traveler's Boots (which should still be made available to other races, or an equivalent).

Weapons have a similar issue.  I can't remember the numbers off the top of my head but a war staff costs less than a spear and I think the same as a regular staff but has much higher attack than both.  Note: this is during sovereign creation.

Staff, 8 points, 5 attack I believe.  (Need to double-check this.)

War Staff, 8 points, 15 attack.  (Dead sure on this one, been using it.)

Oak Spear, 15 points, 8 attack.  (More sure than I am about the standard staff.)

Knowing there's never a good reason to get a club?  Priceless.
