I put this in support becuase some othere people may want to do this, I was unhappy with the map size large being to me pretty small size world, and there being no in game option for huge and giant for a map size.
you can edit the in game map sizes same with mutiplayer I was upset with the fact that the random map sizes where so small so what you do is you go to the game file data folder in game that is called coremaps and edit it in word then you can change size of the maps to anything you want.
you can also core resrouces i belive change how often resrouces pop up or how many resrouces there are. by editing those numbers theres no option in game that allows you to chose how many resrouces are in game so this is only way to do it the defualt map size for a large is liek 16 by 8 or something i changed it so my map sizes are 44 x 22 and I do not get any out of memory or bug issues.
