game support questions about unit speed and uint design

dose any one know if theres option or way to edit the game to make it so that units do not skip around in the taticl screen some reason units telport every now and then and its annoying I think its a fast move option of some type but i am not sure, also what file would be needed to be edited to change the unit animations some of id like to actully have abilty to slow down some of the unit speeds.
