Is it any good?

It's really good when you understand how to play it. I watched Frogboy's videos to learn how to play. Also playing the campaign will help you too. So yes I recommend the game.

I don't recommend it to anyone yet, but if you buy it by the end of today I think you get a couple free expansions when they come out. So...

I do have tremendous faith in the crew at Stardock, so you might buy it and just wait for 1.1 or whatever before actually playing it.

Currently its a mediocre game... has some good things, but mainly just missing a lot of the content.  Fortunately that is being added in the near future..... so I would recommend it!
