May I ask a few stupid (from your knowledge perspective) questions?
So I've been trying to document the game from a straight 'this is what I observe, so this is what I report' sort of way.
I've just become aware, from play, and this is play of a little bit every day since September, that a city retains its racial trait after conquest and can sell an item that your base race can not sell (e.g. I start with a Wraith base custom faction, take over a Relias/Men city, now I can buy Traveler Boots for Janusk if he is in range of the city I just took over).
So I guess my questions are:
1) clearly race can have a more meaningful impact than just the game experience lends itself to, are there other items than what is evident (the faction creator choices, the skins, etc.)? This gives me even more hope (I'm already on board, but I didn't think the engine was that far).
2) are there any 'behind the scenes' racial modifiers presently (1.09e) that I can't see via play but exist?
