Correct me if I'm wrong, however, after battling my way through several epic wars I've become marginally familiar with the exact extent of accessible items within the game. I am curious as to whether or not the suggestion has been put forward with respects to an inclusion of element specific weaponry. As far as I can tell, combat currently relies on several crucial, yet standard tactical factors. Basically health, attack & defense is combined with a limited battle grid to provide a canvas for conflict resolution. I understand tactical battles are being overhauled and returning to my original thoughts(I get sidetracked far too easily) which are not tied to the basic mechanics of that function, I was wondering if a range of items that offered bonuses for & against certain elements might spice up the variables a little.
An example: (the generic!) Sword of Fire. A blade with the usual bonuses and augmented to deliver extra damage against opposing elements. A more powerful variant could include the ability to cast an offensive fire spell.
I could go on, but the possibilities are really only limited by the imagination.
