Basically, I want to create a galaxy forge map with the distant stars planet types. I know this is possible, but how do I do it? Also, is it possible to have premade fleets for players?

Go to the folder that contains the mod i.e. C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire then go to the GameInfo and copy and paste the GalaxyScenarioDef.galaxyScenarioDef into the GalaxyForge folder. As for the Premade fleet for players, you'd have to modify the same GalaxyScenarioDef file, specifically the planetItemsTemplate.

another suggestion for the premade fleets is to spawn the ships you want in the fleet at the planet you want in the map.

adventpwnage, distant stars has a galaxyforge addin in the mod as a seperate folder in the distant stars extras folder, just copy the contents of the folder into your galaxyforge  and you should be good to go.

^Are you sure you replaced the galaxysenariodef file in the Galaxy Forge Folder? As in it prompted you "Are you sure you want to replace this file" etc.

Maybe it's a permission issue?  Are you an admin on your computer?  Have you put the galaxy forge folder on your desktop and then tried to copy the GSD updates from the mod folder into it?

If it's still not working and you have TeamSpeak or MSN, PM me for contact info and I can help you out in real time rather then waiting for answers on the forum.
