Okay, I may just be too dumb to figure how the map editor works (Wouldn't be the first time...) but I swear that I tried, but to no avail...
I can enter the editor, see the ocean, or whatever landmass that was random generated already, as soon as I start, like everyone else, wanting to make lands to place things on first, right?
I chose the tool (which I forgot the name of... it is like two arrows, one looking up, and one down) select rugged land (or any other) and try to click on the map, hoping that it would appear, but it doesn't, I have tried both mouse buttons, and several keys in vain. The most I can do is click like mad, and then a piece of land (the size of my brush) appears, but that's pretty random... And after seeing a video of Brad using the editor, where he clicked on a mountain and raised and lower it's height just by holding down the mouse button, I feel like I have some issues... (That video was from the beta time, the editor might have as well lost that ability).
And to top it all, if there are landmasses already, and I decide to deal with it and just place the resources and such, I find that some resources don't even appear when I click on their name on the list (i.e the resource doesn't appear to move along with my mouse to place it), others look black, like they had been loaded wrong, and those that look right, and appear, as soon as I place them on the map, by clicking, they just dissapear, without appearing on the map proper...
I honestly want to use the editor, too many ideas but unable to... if anyone knows how to solve this, where am I messing up, or if this is a known bug, please tell me, and sorry for the long rant...
Thanks in advance.
