I agree with pretty much all your points.

You are misunderstanding me about what I mean by Morgan's actions though. What I meant was a couple of negative sentences sent him into a post deletion rage, meaning that he probably wouldn't have lasted long on the forum as the mod progressed because there is bound to be some criticism later on. Not that he would quit your team.

As far as your mod goes. I think mods like the Dragonlance project are at the very least crucial to the longevity of a game, and the community. It was mentioned recently by Frogboy that the numbers say that mods don't sell games but I disagree. Look at DOTA, FFH and some of the FPS mods. Heck, I would argue that Demigod owes its existence to a mod project. 

That being said, I hope you guys hang around, post as many threads as you like (Please keep a main thread that links to the others though) and Morgan reconsiders, gets a little more thick skinned and comes back because surely he realizes that the comments of a few posters should not weigh more than the comments and support of the MANY people who are excited about your project.
