I like my wee pewter dragon, although I'm too lazy to paint it, it has a place of honor on top of my monitor next to my silver Intel man and Patton miniature (I wish I had a plush miniaturized giant space hamster to round out the collection).
I like the poster, too, I think the color was really well done and the border is neat. It has a place on my wall next to Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and my kickass PST poster (this one: http://www.rpgfan.com/pics/planescape-torment/poster.jpg I didn't buy the game back when it was still shipping with those, but I picked that up on ebay for under $10 recently), and it fits in nicely.
The texture and look of the cloth map are really neat, and it makes a good companion to the Homnomnom.
Whoever designed the Homnomnom itself deserves to be commended (looks like someone named Kathleen Lane?), because I find the page layouts and typesets to be of the first quality, particularly for a book that came with a video game, and didn't cost $25 at a bookstore. It's nice to open up to a random page and read a story or two, or a blurb about a sovereign. I think the little stories in the Homnomnom are pretty well written and intrinsically interesting, but I do wish they were worked into the game itself a little bit more. Also, I'd like it if poring over my cloth map gave me some sort of planning advantage in the campaigns, but that might be wishful thinking.
p.s. Plz don't post here if you just want to complain about a) the gameplay,
not having your LE yet, or c) anything else. This is a happy thread.
