Like the title says crashing like crazy here. Same as before. Whenever there iws alot going on in game(later stages) the OOM crashes come faster and faster. That means larger maps will suffer more ultimately because there is more real estate to grow. After turn 200 or so the game is pretty busy and has a lot of buildings and units to display.
I get really really slugish performance at this point and frequent(very) OOM crashes. I have autosave set to every other turn. The patch last night fixed a lot of combat realted crashes but the OOM one is still there. I think the game code needs to be scoured completely to get rid of the leaks. I wish there was something to be done for poor performance too. I suspect that some one will have to mod and reduce polygons, or maybe it's all the AI scripts that are bogging it down.
Really not too much fun past turn 250 or so. It's just to slugglish and CTDing because of OOM. Anyways, I really hope this memory leak is sorted out soon.
