If you create a souvereign with the name Smithius for example, then save a game with him, then later delete him and create another souvereign with the same name, and play him, some of the earlier souvereign's stuff shows up, like the graphics and custom card. Not sure if this only happens as long as there is a save game present with the earlier souvereign or not, but that was the case for me.
