Try Installing Impulse, www.impulsedrivenc.om i belive that is the adress , isntall taht app, then register ur game in the games tab, add your elemental war key , then right click the game in impulse games list, and hit install, maybe installing it threw there will help it work,

Also make sure you have all your windows updates installed, it sounds like there may be a small chance u have a virus i do computer repairs for a living and i belive ive seen that error msg somewere b4. if worse come to worse just reformat your system. but try the first two things b4 that. It could have something to do maybe wiht your cd-rom drive but taths not to common would usuually just be a read error not a fatal error like that.

then install impulse and download&install game from there.

I'm having the same problem....I cannot reinstall the game now, i reinstalled impulse, reinstalled the game, or attempted to..I am now re-downloading it to see if it will go.

Also, when you install "impulse" it mestasizes into "Gamestop" but looks much like the "old Impulse".  I reinstalled that too...

Nothing works...it seems.

Ran a virus scan too, and also tried to install without antivirus on...

If any of you have any ideas further, i'd be willing to give 'em a go.  Also ran virus scan too..
