[1.07] Oversight: Grandchildren deciding to join defeated (dead) faction

A short while after arranging marriages between my own faction sons and neighboring faction daughters (Pariden in that particular game), the neighboring faction fell. Pardon my inner power gamer, but  I thought: cool! More offsprings for my kingdom! Turns out I thought wrong, as the next two to grow up chose to throw their lot with non-existent kingdom of New Pariden, first one becoming its King, according to his title on the dynasty screen.

It would be neat, actually, if they'd go found a new settlement somewhere outside my borders and revive the lost kingdom, but instead they just stood in the middle of my capital city not moving a tile. I was able to bring a dialog screen to talk to them as if they were Pariden (no figurehead against the backdrop  just treaties/trade/dynasty dialog available), but other than that, nothing.

I realize some of game mechanics are being looked into and reworked, so if you guys have a chance could this be looked into as well?

Thanks a bunch!

R

I've seen this too.  After Capitar was defeated, three of my sovereign's grandchildren joined Capitar when they came of age, the oldest was labeled their Queen in the Dynasty window.  They spent the rest of the game standing on top of (not in) the town where they were born and came of age.
