Finished my play through of a game on normal difficulty, normal map size. Found some more issues to go along with my other post. I didn't reply to that one because I wasn't sure if it would be seen, and there's a sizable amount of issues.
1. At some points in the game, the TAB button stops working; it will get to a point where it will not go to your next unit anymore. Even if you have 10 units that have movement points, it will not work. Sometimes it will start up again on it's own (20 or so turns later) or maybe a restart will fix it. Kinda annoying, nothing game breaking though.
2. AI issues. In a 5 opponent map, 3 of the 5 did not build anything. They just stuck with their level 1 city and level 1 sovereign. 2 of the 3 opponents did nothing except build up a small group of units. They were each gathered on top of the sovereign, but they were weak units. 1 opponent did NOTHING at all (no units except for the sovereign). So 3 opponents just sat there without improving really. Maybe it was because it was 5 players on a normal size map, but I don't think you should have to play on a large just because there's 5 people (6 including you). From the picture below, that's the best the guy did on turn 180, and that was his only [1] city.

3. Performance: the game runs well until about turn 200-250, then it starts lagging quite a bit. I know my computer is not the best (1.7 dual core with x1400) but the beginning of the game plays fine on the cloth map, but the ending is painfully slow; especially combat animations, they are insanely slow and some of the spell effects, even if you have the effects turned off in the settings, are still there running in the "background," which slows down the fight until the effect is finished (i.e. you can't cast another spell until the blizzard effect is over, but you can't know when it's over because there's a 5 or more second pause after the actual graphical effect; I hope that makes sense).
4. Speaking of combat, 2 things that are very annoying: the info card and the fact that moving the map by clicking and dragging makes you lose your action (I'll explain). It's fine for the most part, but I have to constantly move the screen cause the info card gets in the way of casting long range abilities and spells. Example: I highlight the guy I want to cast the spell on, but because he's on the right side of the screen, his info card comes up on top of him, so I have to move the screen. Then when I move the screen the game thinks I casted the spell in the spot I clicked on and dragged the map with. If I move the screen by scrolling to the right with the mouse, the map moves very laggy but very fast, so now the enemy is on the left and my army is no where to be seen. So I have to keep moving the screen back and forth, which is very annoying.
5. That clicking and dragging issue from 4. is also in the overland map. Say I highlight a group of units and I want to move them somewhere. If that location is off the screen, I click and drag the map which will 75% (!!!) of the time lose focus on my guys. So since they're not highlighted anymore, I have to go back to where they are click on them again, and then make the map large enough that they and the location are on there at the same time. This is VERY annoying, because it happens very often. Clicking and dragging even a little bit should never make the game lose focus of the highlighted unit.
6. Yay, another crash to desktop. Reloaded a game from within a game, and got a crash.

7. In overland map, middle clicking and moving the mouse rotates the map view. But every third time I play or reload or whatever, the direction gets flipped. So middle click and moving to the left will rotate the map left, the next time I load the game, it will move the map rotation to the right. Small annoyance.
8. Combat: spells are missing, and other weird happenings: So I have 3 casters and 3 rock elementals (the ones with the rain of rocks ability, or whatever it's called). I'm noticing abilities and spells are missing a LOT since the last patch. And also when I use my elementals for their ability against multiple units, I will get the same damage to the enemies many of the times. So if I cast that rain of rocks on 6 enemies, many many times I'm seeing the game either miss them all, do 1 damage to them all, do 3 damage to all, do 11 damage to all, etc. It's pretty strange.
Then doing damage to sovereigns is kinda strange too. One sovereign I defeated (easily with spells), but he escaped. Well I found him again and when I went to finish him off again, by himself, I must have missed him with 6 or 7 spells in a row. And not cheap spells either, but all kinds (even high level direct damage). Then I tried my elementals, and their rocks totally missed him too, 2 times each elemental. So that's about 12 misses in a row. Then I FINALLY got one spell to hit him. That's strange to have so many misses in a ROW, but I'm seeing more misses in general in this patch. I thought the spells were going to have some base damage, and not really miss?
9. Seafaring: for some reason I can't get this. I have researched it, I have towns that are right next to water, but I can't build any ships, any new buildings, etc.? what am I supposed to do to get transport ships? Is it faction dependant? I'm the always playing the faction at the top right (egalitarian guys, I can't remember the name). The entire game I couldn't build any ships, am I doing something wrong?
10. QUESTS: ok, a big one here. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but quests are all broken for me. This did also happen in the other patches (1.02 and 1.05) but never like this. I have gotten many of them to work. Every quest that I do, level 1 - level 5, there is NO destination given. So the quests in other patches, it would say take so and so to this location, and it would show me the location. That's correct. But in this recent game, no locations are pointed out, so I have no idea where I'm headed. So I scoured the map and found NOTHING for the quests. I looked at every little nook and cranny on the map, every location I could see and I saw nothing that was related to the quests I had picked up. I had at least 4 going, some nobleman, dragon, midnight stones, etc. There just didn't exist anything on the map for me to take them to. Now, it might be because I have notable locations off. I turned that off because in the previous game I played they were cluttering up the entire map with tons of notable locations. But that shouldn't affect the quests, which did I kept on, right? Anyway, none of my quests got completed, obviously, so that was a let down.
Some of these are probably known, but here they are regardless. Good luck.
