These are some of the bugs and inconsistencies I've run across while running through a recent game. And yes, my video card is old; this is a dell dual core with a x1400 ATI card. My real laptop is in for service, and this one runs the game like crap on the main map. BUT if you play in cloth map only, it's actually pretty smooth and fun. And these are the most recent drivers that support the x1400, I believe (omega drivers).

This is fully patched up to the recent version, with no mods.You probably have heard these before, but I'm posting these just in case.

1. Graphical corruption. I will sometimes get this weird graphics in the game. I tried many different drivers before I got the omega drivers, which seemed to fix it. But every now and then I will get this occasionally, but a restart or reinstall will fix it.

2. Unit essence bonus is a bit high on this one. It's just a typo though because does NOT give that much essence (trust me, I tried).

3. Box at the top middle of the screen occasionally messes up. If you have Gold and metal, but if you use up all your metal and the box shrinks down again just for the gold, then this happens (happened many times at the beginning of the game.

4. When playing on cloth map only, once I went into the menu to change the sfx volume, and when I got back it was back to the full map display.  I had to go back into the menu and uncheck, then check again the cloth map only. This also happened once while I was loading a game.

5. Loading screen text (hints) are not centered in the box. I can't make a screen shot of this, it keeps only giving me the background. But the text does not fit properly in the text box during loading screens.

6. Creatures/bandits, etc. don't always have their name in the "name" box of their info card. The name is often times under that, so it's in a light area of the card written in white, making it very hard to read.

7. Is that gold amount normal? This is on turn 20-30, so why is he so broke?

8. Diplomacy: right clicking on a ruler of another faction doesn't always let you talk to him. i.e. Click your main guy (or any of the guys you control; is that a bug? is only your ruler supposed to be able to talk to the other leaders?) and the highlight the ruler you want to talk to if he's on the main map. You'll get the dialog bubble, then right click. 1 out of 3 times, it moves my selected unit towards him, meaning if you were close you'll enter his territory and he'll get mad.

9. Diplomacy: if you have a peace treaty with someone and then click on dynasty, if he says you don't have any children able to be married off, you're back at the main screen but you're now able to declare war on him, even though you have an active peace treaty.

10. Then again, DX Error: Invalid Call. I got a popup which brought me back to the desktop, and when I try to go back, I get the error and crash. It will sometimes still happen if you alt-tab as well, it doesn't matter.
