Don't think this has been mentioned before, and this issue has been bugging me for a while. In Elemental, whenever you attack a group and defeat it, you get gold. However, whenever you are attacked by a group and defeat it; you get no gold.  

What gives? Are they hiding their stash before they attack? What about monsters who are worth money dead? Are they prying off their valuable skin and scales before the ambush?

Anyone else never get gold after winning a defensive battle?
