I’d like to see some of the following if possible in future updates:

Game Setup:

Teams from the start – Create fixed teams from the start.

Random Opponent(s) select. Since there will be more and more custom factions, I’d like to have an option to randomly select the AI.

Feature:

When you’re Allied with someone, you should see their explored map or at least their cities.

Able to trade maps.

Sea Monsters. (There might be, but I have not sailed much)

I like the feature where a big red exclamation shows new resources, can you also create a shortcut key to do this at any time, show un-used resources.

Go to Event – A lot of times my caravans get eaten up, but not always sure where. I think Spacebar does this, but not working that good for me.
