Haven't gone too deeply into a game yet, but here's some tidbits I have so far:
1. Those 'crowns' in the end of battle summary, what are they? I used to think they were experience, but they're not. The sov always gets 50, the others tend to get 0, though I've seen summoned units get 40. Units will get 0 and still level up afterwards, so those crowns aren't exp. If the crowns aren't needed, maybe they should be ditched and actual exp gained should be shown instead. If not, exp should be shown somewhere after a fight.
2. Rearranging jobs in the build screen. Currently, the only way I see to rearrange jobs in the build is to cancel one, then restart it in the order you want it built. How about allowing for dragging jobs around in the build screen?
3. Some arrows in the equipment screen to scroll through champions in a stack would be convenient.
4. Optional in-game clock.
5. Squads don't lose attack as they lose men like they're supposed to. I had an enemy squad, with an attack rating of 42, down to 1 guy left, with 1 hp. The one guy hit my sov for a whopping 42 points, which was the max for the whole squad. There's plenty about squads in the forums already though.
6. Study spells. When you go into study spells (by clicking the small icon next to the spell you're currently researching), the spell book opens to the spells you already know. There's no way (that I see) to change the spell you're currently researching. How about making the spell book contiguous, and all the book-related tabs in the ui just take you to different sections? Let the 'study spells' tab take you to 'learning' and 'available spells', the'spell book' tab under 'actions' take you to learned spells, etc. Maybe 'unavailable' spells shouldn't be viewable...
7. Consistency. The startup tip still relates to granaries, yet in the game granaries have been replaced by 'irrigation systems'. Unless there are still granaries and I just haven't reached them yet.
8. In the 'Cutting Weapons' tech description, the last line reads "...in return allow for strikes in a given time...", sounds like it should read "... allow for more strikes in a given time...".
9. I found some Elementium. It said "You eight pieces of Elementium". What did I do with those pieces? I ate them?
10. Band of Fortitude, desc. says it adds 2 hp, yet it only adds 1 hp.
11. Support for control groups would be great. For units & cities.
12. Is there any way to remove caravans from the 'idle unit' queu?
13. Enchantments like Imbue Hero. How do you target these when your Sov is stacked with multiple units? Currently I remove the Sov and the target unit from the stack, cast the spell, then put them back. It works, but it's a pain. A step is missing. After casting Imbue, the stack should be layed out and I should be able to click which unit gets imbued.
