I'm relatively new to the modding world, but the possibilities within Elemental has intrigued me and I have my heart set on making an original total conversion for it. As a beginner, that might be over my head, but I'm willing to try and learn. So for those who'd like to pass along your knowledge, I have a few modding questions I'm wondering if someone could answer for me.
1) Can you rename the city buildings, like the workshop or farm? I'd like to rename them to something more appropriate for the mod I'm working on.
2) Can you import 3d objects to serve as weapons, armor, items and clothing? I have a setting with a heavy Asian influence, I'd need stuff like samurai helmets, katanas, karate belts, etc.
3) How would importing 3d animated models to replace monsters, NPCs, etc., work?
If it helps, I don't want to get too deep into 3d modeling/animation (I have some very limited experience in this area, probably not enough to do too much with here), and I don't want to get too involved with the XML. At the very least, I'm trying to basically keep Elemental as it is, but give it an appearance of taking place in a feudal Japan/China inspired setting. I would get more advanced as I learned modding, if the game allowed it, and if the mod was popular enough to warrant the extra effort. If anyone needs a protege to pass on their ancient modding arts I am willing to learn
