Two things I think favor mentioning....
1) The empire summonable unit the spy.... overpowered ability 10 damage to ALL enemies that can't miss, very cool but for a low level summonable unit, research straight to it and blow through the earl game, perhaps a lower amount of damage as even 10 damage to a single target that cant miss will insta-kill most low level charcters, units and NPC enemies or animals.
2) Will a tactical battle deployment area be done, as the attacker goes first and if they have AoE spells or abilities and you army starts deployed in a mass, it is very easy to hit on turn 1 the ENTIRE enemy army, ending the battle before it begins...e.g. Chain Lightning the stone giants Hurl rock...etc, etc...
The ability to look at the enemy and deploy accordingly woudl improve balance and add more strategy to the tactical battles.
