Has everyone who preordered got Elemental yet?

Because it has been about 8 hours since stardock started handing out the game early and i don't have it yet, and this post

K its all good now, u will get an email w/ key. It shouldnt take long, as i only ordered today and got it several hours later

in the "If soebody buys on impulse now, would they get immediate access?" thread makes me think i'm not going to get it early, maybe because my preorder was a gift?

edit: looks like i can now download so just ignore this.

Yes, all pre-orders have been charged.

If your charge was successful you should now have access to install Elemental via Impulse.

If your charge failed you should have received an email notifying you.

Reaper, I checked your account and indeed your charge has completed and you should have access to Elemental.

I got my msg today that Stardock charged me for my preorder, so I should be able to download it tonight I can't wait!

I only found out about this game a few weeks ago and I can't believe someone finally listened to our prayers and came out with another tactical turn based strategy game. Now if they could only remake games like X-com, Battletech Crescent hawk etc, I think some of us old timers would be in heaven.

Nope not yet.

Not because of Stardock but because of moving to a new province and having abysmal internet services and options. To download the game I would be charged by my carrier an extra 100 dollars for using 2 gigs worth of bandwidth. No other options are available because they all have they same price scheme from multiple carriers.

Waiting for mine to arrive by snail mail but me thinks it will be next week before it arrives and than there will be a 0-day patch that will cost as much as the game to d-load. Really really blows. Can't believe this is even legal and the carriers can get away with it. It is bad as oil companies and there fake reasons for raising gas prices.

I hope Stardock will be able to allow me to d-load at a different comp to get my updates. Or send out discs to customers like me with the patches on them.

So I just checked with my bank.... It says the charge has been authorized, but I don't see Elemental on the "My Games" page. I wrote sales@stardock about an hour ago??

You could always try anywhere.impulsedriven.com and use that to download the game for offline installation. You can't get incremental updates that way, but its pretty much your only option at the moment.

Frogboy has stated that he would like to take a yearly archive/snapshot of the game to be released via cd/dvd for people like you

could someone remind me if i should be expecting a charge to my account now or, as i've been in the beta since the start, i have already been charged (months ago)?

Thanks Mtn-Man and mrlarone for the reply. Didn't realize they were thinking of doing this. Great news and glad Stardock just doesn't dismiss customers who still can't get reliable internet service.
