General Questions about modding and idea brainstorm

This would be a thread where people post general questions to people experienced in modding with EWoM.

My starting question would be, how easy would it be to add places with interiors? Say like a big castle with multiple rooms, going to the plane of air with all sorts of planar monsters and planar specific items to be found? Something like what you did in Heroes of might and Magic III?

That would be awesome to have large dungeon-type places where players can duke it out for great rewards. Or is that already in the game?

I think the answer to that would be "not very easy". Unless it's something that they specifically allowed for, and I'd think we'd have heard about it if that were the case.

Yeah, I think it'd be possible but difficult for modders to implement interiors... especially believable interiors in which you wouldn't have to suspend disbelief.

I was thinking of something like this diablo 2 screenshot:

Which still looks a bit like elemental, the tiles and no roof, and maybe theres a light setting so you can make it darker?

The general idea being to allow for different "instances" to exist in a game beside the main map that any other players can coexist in provided they got the right "key" to access it (Say, finding the cave entrance (with perception skill maybe) or researching the magic that lets you open a portal to the plane of air.

I didnt run across it, so im not sure if it exists, but a creature editor?

Like very basically it could let you pick a color palette and size for any creature in the game right now, edit its stats, the things it can do, flag it so it becomes a hero unit?

I havent played alot but this game reminds me of Ogre battle, would be awesome to be able to have heroes like frost wolves, Animalist Ogres (creature summoners), metallic spiders, Ice trolls, etc...

If the devs would want to go down that road further, then a spore-like editor to help people piece together creatures without having to really model would make me jizz in my pants.
