I just read in the recent interview with Brad, "It’s a turn-based game, but movement within a turn is real-time.".
When did this happen? Is that only in multi-player? Is this "real-time" aspect at least an option?
One of the things I like about turn-based games is that I am not pressured to make all my decisions quickly and be fast and efficient at making all my moves (and feeling obligated to memorize all the hotkeys and shortcuts to save every possible second) before some timer runs out. I want to be able to stop and appreciate the cool graphics or thoughtfully survey the map and carefully consider my strategy or take a sip of coffee without being concerned that while I am doing these things, something else may be happening somewhere when I am not looking (like happens in a RTS).
I realise I am probably in the minority here, but I almost HATE playing RTS games. LOL I bought Elemental because it was supposed to be turn-based? I don't want to get too bent out of shape over this until I know/understand more, so can we please have some clarification about the "real-time" aspects of this game?
