Imagine I want to buy this game. It's not that simple to use webmoney where I live so I plan to go and buy good old DVD. But I could get only the Russian version and I fear that I miss most patches, mods and downlodable content. And couldn't share maps and mods myself.

I couldn't find info on the matter so tell me please: would I be able to use english version, download patches, content, use multiplayer etc if I buy Russian version of the game? Is Russian serial (or what form of protection is there) as good as any other?
