I concur.
Plus, I find myself annoyed by the Civ-like "play a few more turns" pop-up window when you want to quit the game. It is more frustrating than titillating. The only reason such a pop-up window should exist, in my imperfect opinion, is to prevent the risk of quitting the game unintentionally by hitting a common key, e.g. when in Dom3 you hit "e" for escape. Even in this case, I am not certain it is the best way to do it.
