Since it is no real taboo to mention Civ 4 on this forum I have to admit I love playing LAN games but when I play online with my friends (everyone at their own house) the chat just does not really work. I would love to see this game have a good chat system that integrates either into the announcements or in a tranlucent box that darkens when clicked. Maybe for a patch or something.

That way people can enjoy this game online with a proper chat or even some good role playing. Any thoughts?
