During gameplay gained a new tech (research level) and the "continue button" never appeared in its customary place. I was unable to exit screen and had to do a hard reboot. Tried Ctrl-Alt Del, Alt-Tab, etc... Posting DXDIAG as indicated by reporting sticky below. Dumps and Err not applicable to this event.
