Incidentally, my familiar is now a dog with limited hits and attack. Not powerful at all. Would be moderately acceptable if it leveled up with me, but it doesn't. Totally nerfed. Recommendation: Would prefer if it could level up.
If you encountered a crash upon loading a save, the save may also be helpful.
