I was looking to get my hands on a shard, so I took one of Parriden's undefended cities that was built next to the only one in vicinity. Unfortunately, one turn later an absurdly powerful Parriden army shows up and takes back the city, killing my sovereign inside. Cue crash to desktop immediately afterwards.
