I haven't got too in depth yet, still toying around with the first 20 turns after creating a faction and a sovereign.
We still don't have eqiupment for all genders/factions, but we know its coming and the art is there.
Faction Design:
- I love the ways that you can customize the races, very keen. Values are proportionally correct: weaknesses hit hard and give half their opposite; so, a weakness on production and a strength in production would not even out, but rather you would end up with the same amount of points and weaker guys. This really helps with balance issues, since going for a twink build would be a balancing act rather than a swapping of points. Weaknesses should hit hard, and they do.
- I LOVE the choices you get for your faction. Would you like to be EVIL? Yes, please. Fun stuff.
Artwork: Currently, the Trogs buildings do not have little Trogs in the city, running about and doing their things. Aside from that, the Trog building have a nice feel to them. They look a little plain, like the Coin Mint (in place of the merchant), which just looks like four boxes at the moment. The statues are cool, and I like the overall architecture.
Unit Design: When designing units, the screens are a bit faster and more intuitive than when designing the sovereign.
