If the game is delayed, will the novel be delayed as well?

This is probably a question only Brad can answer: Amazon.com currently lists August 24 as the release date for Elemental: Destiny's Embers.  If the game is delayed from August to February, will the novel be pushed back too?

It would be nice to get the novel a few months before the game so we could get introduced to the lore/world.  This is what EA did with Dragon Age and its first novel, The Stolen Throne, and I think it worked rather well.
