Been doing some checking and the following items don't appear to work:
1) Book of Experience -- Does not affect experience, unsure what it does affect
2) Movement rate potion -- Has no affect on my custom heroes
3) Combat Skill book -- doesn't appear to affect offense
4) Defense Skill book -- doesn't appear to affect defense
The following techs have no/distorted function in-game, but indicate that they should (e.g. I'm ignoring Katanas because it doesn't actually list that it does anything).
1) Harvesting -- it adds +1 food per garden, as opposed to allowing you to build gardens as indicated.
2) Advanced Mining -- I have not figured out a way (in version 2 when iron existed) to make a Venturi Mine. Currently moot as there is no iron.
3) Logistics -- Ability bonus is null.
4) The Advanced Farming didn't improve my overall food production...but if it only affects farms vs beehives and orchards and gardens...ok maybe.
5) Farming -- Wheat farms? Can't seem to use this.
6) Movement -- ability bonus does not appear to affect my troop movement.
7) Improved Training -- Can't figure out what this ability bonus does, certainly doesn't increase HP of my expert/elite troops etc.
Events:
When you find an adventurer's sword at an equipment cache, etc, it's a dagger. Please, give me a sword or make it say "you find and adventurer's blade"
You don't actually get a horse from the horse quest. A "placeholder horse" item might be nice. Just flavor text it "you can't ride this quite yet, but you might be able to sell it for use as a caravan."
Whenever a noble dies, the estate stays on the map indefinitely. This can, and often does, block construction areas for cities.
Children mature with such widely varying stats, outside the allowable ranges for sovereigns. I think I had one kid with 1 con, 20 strength, and 3 dexterity. Good thing he was a tracker assassin...WHACK. Suggestion here--limit child stats to a minimum of 4, slightly worse than a sovereign but still inside the useable range (min hp of 5, like a peasant).
Combat victory--displayed experience does not seem to be experience gained. I had a character level twice from 4-6 on 50xp, but the next game didn't level from 1-2 for the same amount.
