[bug][Beta 2-A] Unable to spawn mines

The game does not seem to spawn mines any more. I've noticed I couldn't find on in a game I was playing, then restarted 5 times, with the sole goal of exploring the map to check. No dice, not a single mine in six different game attempts. I'm a bit of a computer neanderthal so can anyone tell me what and how to attach for the devs ?

I've played a couple of mineless games too. Have you tried playing with the map size/factions?

Agree,

I have had the same trouble.

Also tried multiplayer a few times, but I could never find someone to play against.

I have never seen a mine, other than crystal mines.

Also, Beekeeping is crazy everywhere.  I can't plunder a defenseless city without tripping over two wild beehives on the way.

Other items are intermitant: I have seen wild flowers, for instance.  I was a little shocked, but they did look pretty.

anyone know if there is an xml file (and how to edit it) to circumvent this issue until devs release a patch to address? driving me nuts!

Actually, now that you bring it up, I had one instance where the ore mine did show up on the 3D map, but, when I moused over, the description said something about wild flowers and prestige.

Anyway, this puzzles me. The games in the first build spawned mines. This absence seems to be some peculiar to 2-A.

I found iron once in 2-a, im guessing its not completely absent but set to be extremely rare for some reason.
