[Beta 2A][Bug] DX Error: invalid call on alt-tabbing

I thought I saw that this was fixed in the Beta 2A change log, but it seems to still persist for me (on Windows 7).  If I alt-tab out of Elemental when the 3D map is visible, I get a crash to desktop with a "DX Error: invalid call" message.  If I alt-tab from anywhere other than the 3D map, it doesn't happen, although I sometimes get various forms of graphics corruption.

Have you made sure to turn off Fullscreen option?

@Labtec_au - eteq shouldn't need to.  The problem is supposed to be fixed, the fullscreen-off option was just a workaround.  

@eteq - For me, alt-tab works from full screen mode in Beta 2A.

A few questions: Does it always give you the error, every time?  Are you sure you've gotten Beta 2A properly installed?

It seems to happen every time... and by "are you sure you've gotten Beta 2A properly installed" I'm not sure what you mean - I ran the upgrade via impulse without any complaints and it says it's on .803 - is there something else I need to do?

Oh, and here's a screenshot of the "graphics corruption" - note the white stuff everywhere that isn't the city - there's not supposed to be any snow there!

I have the same problem, consistently.  Happened with beta 2, also happens with beta 2a.  Happy to provide dxdiags etc.  Vista32 with an ATI Radeon 3860X2 Crossfire.

yea i got the same thing until the latest one, still happens sometimes though. Also sometimes I come back and I can't see any buildings except those which are placed after tabbing back in.

That's all I meant, I don't know of any other steps.  

I do occasionally get a very similar form of graphical corruption as your picture, but it isn't tied to Alt-tabbing.  I'm not sure what causes it for me.
