Did the Lost Horse quest, didn't get a horse. This made my face sad.
Was playing a custom sovereign (married) in Tarth, if that makes a difference.
Same here I actually got the quest twice in the same game with a custom leader "you received a horse!", but there were no horses to be had.
Same issue. Read the instructions very carefully. No horse in items to "equip". Got the quest twice as well!

Still haven't seen any tech to enable horses?
It seems like the quest is currently something of a placeholder, awaiting the tech and addition of horses to units.
