This would definitely be something for post release...but here it goes:
Has anyone here played Spore? Remember the feature that would allow other peoples creations (or only your friends' creations) to appear at random in your play-through of Spore?
As people inevitably create new map tiles, custom sovereigns, and custom items - wouldn't it be cool if those periodically wandered into other people's games? You could off course opt out from sharing and being shared with, but I think that would be a pretty cool idea, to the extent that it would work in conjunction with the various editors which are being rolled out with the game.
Someone could make some combat powerhouse sovereign that would have that kind of behavior on any game he migrated into. Another sovereign could be a diplomacy expert and be very helpful and cooperative with the player(s).
I've just been rolling this idea around in my head for a few days.
