When I have a game going for maybe 500-1000 turns, then I go to load the game later on, it does not load after a long time, and the game is not responsive.

I have had it happen as well, never got to 500 turns till Beta2 came out though!
I figured out it usually will load if you set it to cloth map only, then after it loads, you can disable cloth map only, and it will be 3D again.
I had a save failing to load after only 25 turns, but this workaround worked for me. Thanks!
Could one or more of you guys provide a gamesave where this is happening? It would be useful to us to help solve the issue.
