d3dx9 42.dll is missing

Upon installing the beta on my computer, I get "d3dx9 42.dll is missing"

Windows 7 home - 64 bit

Intel Core 2 DOU e8400

2 gig ram

NVidia GeForce 9800 GT

 

Ironically, I did not have this problem on my laptop with is i7 4 gig windows 7 32 bit.

I suspect it has to do with home 64bit, but that is pulling a guess out of the nether regions behind me.

Have you tried re-installing the game?  It sounds like a file didn't get installed properly.

Actually going to Microsoft

and updating DX 11 worked.
