Well clicking options crashes the game and clicking new game freezes it

The multiplayer and exit buttons work, but options and new game should too, right? Or have I missed something? Can't find any games in multiplayer, but at least it doesn't crash when I click it
I've got the same issue. New game fills the bar 99% then freezes. Options does an immediate close.
Windows 7 64 Bit, i7 processor. 8 Gig memory. I'm going to try reinstalling from scratch instead of over 1z.
This was an issue with the upgrade for me.
The crash occured when upgrading from 1Z to Beta 2. I deleted the game, deleted the Documents\My Games\Elemental folder, re-installed and it works now.
