I guess I really want a post-apocalyptic survival simulation, sort of like UnReal World. Most post apocalyptic fiction and games have become very science-fictiony in a way I think sort of defeats the purpose of post-apocalyptic fiction. FO1&2 are great TBCRPGs with humor, memorable characters, atmosphere and charm. FO3 is a shitty shooter with stats.

Ive played all of the fall-outs and... even wasteland.. boy was that a long time ago...

I enjoyed 1 & 2 as top down turn based games they were very good.

fallout 3... very very good.  9/10   I didnt have any issues running it on my pc-

maybe thats where people take away from their score.
