We currently have no plans for any European localizations, as most users tend to prefer English over translations in games anyway.
Due to things like long delays in getting a version translated (i.e. developers waiting to the last moment to send text files to foreign publishers or taking long time to develop translated version or now with digital releases getting in the middle), bad translations/voice overs, waiting for patches to be translated (considering all the "Patch for Steam, patch for Impulse, patch for version purchased from the developer...", this point isn't so important anymore I'd say), it's cheaper not to translate (come on, be honest!
) and surely other details that I fail to think of.
Doubly so in a fantasy title with so much lore and unique stuff that would translate poorly, if at all.
Well, not everybody says that it rains cats and dogs when what they really want to say is that it rains very heavily. Depends on the language but in the end, no matter the choice of words used to describe the situation (of raining heavily), the idea is the same. It may take some time and cross referencing but this is not Babel.
But there will be translation mods anyway.
