I am encountering the out of memory error again as I did in the latest betas. This time on on turn 38 (1325805 KB memory usage - Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, I7 processor, 6 GB RAM). BTW - Thanks for Beta 1z! I am not having fun at all

Looks like some art asses got checked in at video/print size, and not game size. I'm actually going to see if I could zip those up and post a fix online for you guys (you'll note that the debug file chokes on trying to mip one of those PNGs).

That's the same configuration I have (but with 8G RAM) with my out of memory crash.
Hi BoogieBac! My screen and game resolution is at 1920 by 1080. What resolution should I try to see if it stops the out of memory symptoms?
EDIT: never-mind - I'll try today's build with a clean install.
Nothing can stop it other than downloading tonight's update which should remove the giant icons.
I've hit the same problem with tonight's update, so I don't think it's fixed. See this thread. Initial report was from before tonight's update, but in a later post I had a dump from after tonight's update.
Yay! Yesterday's build fixed my out of memory error. I did a clean install (deleted "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic" too).
Now I am having a different CTD (no alert popups) much later in the game and before reaching that magical 1.4 GB memory use threshold. i'll start a new thread.
