His story (kudos to Murteas and his translation !):
Lil'Fil is like any other Tarthien, except for his size. Subjected to constant daily harassment about his stature, he quickly found refuge with those who didn’t mock him.
One day, after having retreated deep into the woods to write an ode to Vilfanna, the woman he loved, a troll came upon him and decided he would make a good lunch. Realizing that he was no match for the troll, he fled. He would have perished except for a small burst of wind which guided him to safety. His parents had often told him of the little Amarien who scattered stones in the forest to find his way. Pebbles or small puffs of wind, there was no real difference. The wind guided him; it seemed his efforts to communicate with nature were finally paying off.
It was during his first night with his true love, that he discovered the power and importance of song. The wind loves to hear a melody, and it knows how to reward those who please it.
However, not everything was perfect for Lil'Fil, despite having the ear of Zephyrs; he nevertheless remained small and sickly. In addition, those close to him could not tolerate the happiness he had found with his new love, Vilfanna. Jealous, they used rumors, doubt and other poison to separate the two soul mates. Deeply saddened and hurt by these evil efforts, Vilfanna descended into a despondent silence, from which even her love could not lift her. When she perished shortly after, she was so weak and thin that you could see through her skin. Lil'Fil buried her near the tree where he had learned to sing the language of the Wind and trees, where he became the champion of Earth and Heaven.
It is said that since that day, the village which rejected Lil’Fil and his love, has not had a single harvest, and is constantly battered by storms.
And now Lil’Fil endlessly wanders the road, trying to relieve the burden of those who live under the heavy yoke of injustice and intolerance.
