Diardiamond: In my impatience & disatisfaction I was overly harsh. You are right though, I should have done more homework.
I did apologize allready... but you gotta understand.. that I did feel somewhat cheated when I 1st got to know the game in much deeper detail; since I did expect to play what I saw. Anyways.. he did do an awesome job for version 1... oh well. I can't take back what has been said. Cest la vie.
So as you gathered I only joined in at 1.09e & I've decided that regardless of my initial disatisfaction I'd hang on to EWoM since I'm a junky for games like this and I have faith in SD to make it much better than it was... got hooked almost 20 years ago with EotFS; and frankly... I'm a fantasy junky (as well as sci-fi)
Still though, his reaction shows a few things about him; he's quick to temper and very rude when he feels he's been slighted...whatever; people like him are a dime a dozen. (and I do not base that opinion of mine on this one thread, but rather from noting his reactions in multiple threads, but as i said, thats my opinion)
ElanaAhova: What i intended to convey is that the info was/is very helpful in assisting someone totally new to elemental in getting a basic overview.
Yes it does... but anyone expecting to play that game (as shown in this thread) will be disapointed. Which is too bad since EWoM does have such amazing potential. Again; I should have shown more tact in my original post, or at least counted to 10 before writing.
ElanaAhova: It would be nice, if after a kingdom (life based) held a n area for a time, that some of the color (besides the dull green haze) of the original screenies might begin to grow. Dream on....
Agreed; and Frogboy has stated allready that there are going to be some drastic changes (for the better^^... so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we all find them fun.
EDIT: (ahh; Hindsight is 20/20) In hindsight I should have gone on to say that I lump myself in that same category, poor impulse control (couldn't resist that joke). Aka; being quick to temper & that were both a dime a dozen. More often than not he's helpfull and kidding around & very passionate about the game. I have no intention of "holding" any sort of a grudge or whatnot... SORRY for originally being overly blunt & harsh./
