There are several UI problems. I don’t really know whether they deserve their own thread or not but I don’t think so, so I post them all here. Most are suggestions to make the economic system more readily understandable (since we’re focusing on that these days).
a) [Suggestion] The city info card tells how much gold it produces. Ex: 18.8074 It would be more comfortable to round it up or down: 18.5 or 19.0. Even better: to have only 18 or 19.
b ) [Suggestion] Same problem with City Details/Administrative Expenses. Ex: 2.82843
c) [Suggestion] City Details/Administrative Expenses says that “Each citizen is producing 0.1 gold per turn” but it doesn’t tell that you’ve got a Palace providing 10.0 gold per turn. (Does it have to do with the word “BONUSES” on bottom of the page? Not implemented yet?)
d) [Suggestion] City Details give Gold Income and Administrative Expenses but not the net income of the city; it should (like in the Kingdom Report).
e) [Bug/Gameplay] Kingdom Report and the summary on the bottom left gives me in exemple 8.97 Gold/turn but clicking End Turn would make me go from 1456 to 1461 (+5 !!) or sometimes +17! Is everything taken into account?
f) [Suggestion] At the bottom of the screen, there is the gold icon and the national treasury. It is orange or green according to you losing or earning gold but it would be even more useful if you could add how much is earned or lost a turn. Ex: “852 (+15)”.
g) [Bug/Interface] The info card city gives a truncated sentence before leveling up: “This city will level up (when the” or “This city will level up in 24 Turns (when”.
h) [Bug/Interface] The first two (black and white) lines of the Earth Shard info card are still blurred together.
i) [Suggestion] Goodies already explored don’t give info cards anymore when returning to fog of war (unless they’re inside your borders. It doesn’t make sense: you know what they are and where they are. Image:
