I was doing something off to the side while Elemental was starting up, so for once I was letting the little intro movie play.  I got to about "You travel NORTH..." when the game suddenly closes and Vista informs me that "turn-based fantasy strategy game" has stopped working.

This happened twice before during v0.24, but that was after I tried to change Elemental to windowed mode (which, as it happens, didn't work anyway).  This time I was just starting it up normally.
