Not real major, but when trying to use an item (healing potions) there isn't much feedback on if you used it or not. That number is pretty tiny. I think a pop up asking if you want to use it, or that you have used it, would be nice.
Well when you use a healing potion the green bar circling your Soverign's avatar goes up as well, a nice little visual queue to see how you're doing on health. A message after using a potion might be nice to have in a later build though, with an option to disable such notifications available to the player.
the title of the topic is a little misleading however you're right, the number must be more visible. a pop-up for using an intem oppositely would be very annoying.
